Ford hood ornament.Stand up design,saftey spring loaded.Chrome plated diecast metal with plastic inserts.This ornament has a logo on both sides.About 3 1/4" tall by 2" wide.Complete with speed nut,star washer and gasket for mounting.Original Ford item with Ford logo on the bottom but no part/casting number.Chrome has a great shine like new.The diecast metal has no pits.Lens/emblems are not loose.The lenses have a few tiny minor old age cracks.Cleaned,polished and ready to use.This ornament was from Texas and has never seen the heavy northern winter road salt.This is by far the best Ford/Lincoln/Mercury hood ornament i have sold to date.The exact model year fit is unknown but it may look great on a LTD Ranchero Torino Pinto Maverick Mustang II Thunderbird ETC.Compare this item to reproductions that sell for $94.95 in some restoration catalogs.Used first $60+$5 s&h/USA 48.
